Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

The snake symbolizes transformation, renewal, and letting go of the old to make way for the new. Having endured (and survived) some of the most life-altering hardships of my life at certain points in my adulthood that put my true character to the test and transformed the core of my very being—it’s safe to say that the giant rattlesnake back-piece pays homage to those times of constant struggle, release, renewal, that ultimately transformed me into the person I am today.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I believe that the ink on my body paints the visual representation/story of my life through all of it’s trials and tribulations but the ART itself would sing a thousand melodies of love in its purest—most raw form, long-fought battles of the mind, body, and soul—all of the above, side to sides, up and downs, back and forths—but that’s what makes me(x2) (Btw…it’s just “me” twice 🥲 i tried to do a lil somethin there 🤣)

What would you do with the $25,000?

I want to pursue my passion for competitive pole dancing by opening up my own all-inclusive pole fitness studio/venue that provides a collaborative, creative safe-space for artists and dancers alike pursuing the same passion. I want to build a community from a small, “niche” industry to something more breathtaking, more accepting and much more mainstream where every experience at Gelly’s is breathtaking and even better than it was the day before!
