Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is actually a pet portrait of my dog in an ornate picture frame. She’s been with me through several seasons, and I knew she’d be the perfect addition to my patchwork sleeve. Getting her tattooed felt like carving out space for one of the most constant, grounding parts of my life. She’s more than a pet—she’s my anchor, my best friend, and now, forever part of my skin.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it wouldn’t shout—it’d reflect. A dragon for power I had to grow into. A duckling in remembrance of my grandfather. A panther for survival. My dog, framed like family. Botanicals for the way things bloom and fade and repeat. An eye to stay aware. These aren’t decorations—they’re proof of where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and who I’m still becoming.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d split the $25k three ways: 20% ($5,000) to cancer research, no question. Another 20% into a travel fund—passport’s ready. And the remaining 60% will be invested for my future kids, because tattoos and my career will only take me so far.
