Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is for my wife—she’s the reason behind it. It’s a Fu Dog on my chest, and those usually come in pairs, which says everything. I’m the other half. Since being with her, everything in my life has shifted. She’s grounded me, pushed me, made me better. I honestly can’t picture life without her. She’s it for me.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

They’d tell you everything—where I’ve been, what I’ve survived, and what I’ve loved. Every piece has its own meaning, but together they paint the full picture. Some marks are pain, some are growth, some are people I’ve lost or moments that changed me. You wouldn’t get the full story just looking at one—but all of them together? That’s me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the $25,000 to help my community focus on health and wellbeing. I’ve seen too many people I love struggle with addiction and depression. The best thing you can give your family is you—but you can’t show up if you’re not okay. We need to slow down, take care of ourselves, and be present. Life’s too short not to.
