It’s of a woman’s head/face- half normal half skull surrounded by flowers. I chose this piece because for me it represents the perseverance and the strength I’ve needed and had in order to “keep it together” when I’ve felt like giving up. The flowers represent the beautiful things that have come from experiencing some of the hardest and darkest moments of my life.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I am helping to document some of the most difficult and very beautiful moments of this life’s journey on a canvas that has already experienced so much yet still has a long way to go. I look forward to the continuation of helping her to share who she is and share her experiences as her story, her journey continues…
What would you do with the $25,000?I would like to create a space at my home where in addition to my 4 dogs, I could have the ability to be able to rescue/ foster more while we search for their furever homes, through the building of safe, comfortable kennels, funds for vet bills, food, training and other needed supplies, aaaand of course I’ll set aside a little something for more ink therapy.
