Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is common but I still love it. I got a fairy tattoo to remind me of the youthful joy of being young me, and to celebrate my mother. I used to make fairy houses out of cardboard every night, and my mom would sprinkle sparkles inside when I was sleeping… a core moment for myself I’ll never forget ✨

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Some of the first tattoos I got I drew myself, some are the voices of family I’ve lost, some are reminders of the struggles I’ve overcome. My tattoos are my inner voice, deep and meaningful reminders that I hold close to myself. They help me keep going in the darkest of times, and remind me to keep promises to myself. When I have a hard time staying positive (which is often) , my tattoos guide me out of dissociation, remind me of the beauty in life, and to self love.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I work three jobs currently, I would save this money for my future. I plan on breaking my family’s generational cycles and raising a child one day in the best possible way. In this economy, I know I need to be smart and save all I can to make sure my future is secure, and I can provide. I work with kids with autism for a living, I’m also neurodivergent. I’ve seen how hard it is financially for their family’s to get the care they need. I want to donate $ for this cause.
