Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I got a small black heart on my left forearm. I got it with my girlfriend. As a twice married and separated man, the tattoo represents a few things for me. First of all, it represents the commitment I have in my current relationship. I never got a tattoo with a partner. It also represents for me that there can be a dark side to love.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My tattoos say that I am family-oriented. I love my partner and my kids. My 6 small to medium tattoos might also say that I have just begun and need more tattoos. On my chest, I have the phrase “Make Love”. My children’s initials are M, A, K, and E and each letter of the word “Make” on my chest is in each of their handwriting.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Although I’d be tempted to spend it all on more ink, or a big party where everyone I know is invited, I would likely use the money to drop a lump sum on my mortgage and get me closer to financial freedom.
