Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My inspiration for my last tattoo was actually when my sunflower garden was in full bloom last summer. I had yellow and purple sunflowers. I took several pictures of my sunflowers at different stages of bloom and showed them to the tattoo artist. He then made my garden become part of my happy body canvas. I also had my first grandchild a few months later. Her actual middle name is “Bee”, so I have a cute little bumblebee flying by my sunflowers on my arm.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I believe if my ink could speak and tell my own story it would say it’s the small things in life that make me happy. My children, my granddaughter, beautiful flowers, animals, those are the things that always put a smile on my face.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won 25,000, I would be able to finally build a new deck on the back of the family home. The one we currently have, my husband fell through the bottom once and he had to make a cheap temporary repair. The whole thing desperately needs to be torn down and rebuilt as it’s very old and unsafe. Which is not a good thing as we love to host family/friend gathering's.
