Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My wife! Every tattoo I have is a story in my life, each one of a memory that I get to keep on my sleeve. This year I got married and to commemorate this most memorable moment, I got a tattoo! Of my wife… as a gnome. A fun and goofy tattoo for my silly goose wife. What a moment to always remember, the day I said yes to a life of forever giggles and love.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I hold the eye of my beholder. Sounds deeper than it is. My ink is what I choose to show the world every day. It’s the art I wear and can’t replace. My tattoos are the permanent shield I have meticulously placed and created to wear for the world to view me. My tattoos create presence. A power I did not behold before I got inked. The tattoos have created an armor for me to express myself unapologetically on the outside and within.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would slow down on my American dream and begin work towards my dream reality. The big dream is to buy some land and begin build on an earthship, an off grid self sustaining home. I want to learn from the build and help teach the world other sustainable ways of living. At the moment, I am a barber and love the communication I have with my clients. I want to bring my communication skills to the world and show how we can better our realties. Communication is key to saving earth!
