My ink started as something that represented who I am. My abusive ex was an ink artist and gave me the ink he wanted. I lost me.

Enter For FreeThe last tattoo I got to represent me was actually inspired by the name given to me by my birth mother. While I didn't keep the name long I've gone by a different name for half my life. My tattoo was a representation of my new self breaking through a representation of who I was expected to be.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would start out strong, telling who I loved, starting to say who I was. My ink would say I was finding myself and on the right track. My recent pieces would instead start to tell a much sadder tale of the woman who walked in darkness, struggling against my ex to try to keep him happy as I lost myself.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to rebuild my little family's lives. My children and I left a bad situation and I've been slowly rebuilding and growing stronger. I would get a vehicle and furnish our new home, giving us a sense of security that has been missing from our lives for too long.
