My most recent tattoo was inspired by my life's journey, with the addition of a Dragon to tie in with my Koi tattoo. I believe the journey of the Koi swimming upstream and transforming, through perseverance, into the bold and mighty Dragon helps represent the struggles of life. Represents that no matter how things may be, you keep moving forward, even if against the flow of societal norms, and your life experiences (struggles, blessings, etc) help you evolve into the person you are meant to be.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?To me, my ink represents life's journey - staying on the path no matter what obstacles might block your way. From the phases of the moon (moving from darkness to light), to the alignment of the solar system (keeping your path laid out in front of you) - it is all about moving forward. Even through my geometric sleeve, to my koi to Dragon sleeve, it is all about life's journey.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am an avid volunteer in the adaptive sports community, including the Kyle Pease Foundation, for which I serve as an ambassador. $25,000 would go a long way in helping with my fundraising commitment to the Kyle Pease Foundation (which helps fund life-changing grants within the disability community), as well as covering out-of-pocket volunteer expenses for my events taking place across the US.
