Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

The most recent ink I have would be my feathers behind my ear. A warrior spirit, along with representing my family. Underneath was a rose, something that represented an old self. A boy who didn’t really care much about what he got.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak… I think it would speak on the trials I’ve been through and everything I have on my plate right now. I’d love a tattoo to express my life now. Something that speaks volumes about the different layers of me that has become. Because while I am the “same” me, there’s so many things I feel I hold onto and would love to just have them get expressed.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I have so much going on right now. I’d probably cry and thank god first of all. But it’d help me in so many aspects as far as paying bills (both medical/living expenses), making sure my rescue pup kora gets the life she deserves, and just take some weight off my shoulders so I could get back to slowly easing myself back to society because the effects of my deployment still impact my every day life. Honestly, if it was even half of that I’d be thankful.
