What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo would be my chest piece. 9 hour setting of the words "Hope" and "Faith". I chose those words because they are how I live my life today. From the age 14 to the age 31, I had no faith and certainly no hope. I was lost inside, a prisoner to drugs and alcohol and addicted to the street life. When I found god and sobriety I was given a new outlook on life, a new perspective of myself. A second chance to do things right. A life filled with hope and faith.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would tell a story of girl who has been abused, raped, stabbed, sex trafficked, lost her kids, in and out of jail, living the gangster life. But then it would also tell you the beautiful story of how she found sobriety, god, love, strength, healing, freedom, community, support, success. From angry victim, to inspiring warrior; a survivor. I spent the last 10 years going out and finding people lost in addiction and helping them get there life back. I will continue to do that forever.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I'm a single mom of a 3 year old girl and 16 year old girl. I would get out of debt so I could qualify to buy a home. I've never owned one. I would save the rest of the money and use it sparingly to live off of on those tough times in between checks.
