My most recent tattoo is my dog’s name, Kahua. He has striking blue eyes, so I made the first “a” his actual eyeball. The name also holds deeper meaning, it’s the place in Hawaii where my husband and I got married. Surrounding the name are the same flowers we used in our ceremony. It’s a blend of love, memory, and connection all in one piece.
