Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

This chest piece was inspired through a traumatic spiritual awakening. Through unfortunate, but divine circumstances, I was physically assaulted at random, when a man sucker punched me in the face, unbeknownst to me at the time, right in my third eye. The assault was a catalyst in my spiritual awakening, connecting me to something beyond our physical world. The third eye is crying a drop of blood, memorializing the experience.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would speak to the truth of my transformation. Not just in the transition of my gender, my pride in how my body has become a source of pride and comfort, but also in the transformation of my frame of mind and the way I live, now with a spiritual purpose deepening the connection to my authentic self.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Since this assault, I have also transitioned careers, leaving the live production and theatrical industry (as an audio engineer) to a career in the healing arts as a Massage Therapist. I would use the $25K to pay off my student loan and to set up my private massage practice, where I will be helping other people heal and reconnect with their physical bodies
