My late grandfather (Poppa) inspired my most recent tattoo. For the 33 years I was blessed to have him, he served as a major role model in my life. A highly talented painter and sketch artist, he introduced me to the world art from the day I could hold a paint brush. I owe a piece of my talents and passion for the arts to him. He was a highly respected Sergeant of the NYPD. He saved many lives and lived to serve his community. I have a paint brush, his badge and roses in my honorary tattoo.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My tattoos would say “We are the reminders that there’s more than beneath the surface. We are the impressions of her lost loved ones who walk beside her in the shadows. We are the suit of armour from battles she’s been through. We are the stained glass paintings that decorate her sacred vessel. We are picture book of her life and what she represents to the world around her.”
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off debts and student loans. The rest I would give to my parents so they can do some much needed renovations on their home. They always give and help everyone else before themselves. They deserve it more than anyone I know.
