My leg sleeves are what I’ve been working on. The snakes up my leg are a take on Caduceus, representing my passion for my now 8 years as a bedside pediatric nurse. The stag and two Goddesses of war (Freya and Athena) represent my three feisty and badass children.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink speaks to my resilience. Working in healthcare during the pandemic while birthing/raising three kids (who are only 18 and 17 months apart in age) was an undertaking. My career in itself is a nonstop train of trauma and angst that often bleeds into my home life whether I like it or not. My ink is my therapy and constantly reminds me of the beauty in this life that I’ve created and the reason I keep choosing to do what I do for my family and for others.
