Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was Inspired by my desire to learn! Over time, I figured out that the best way to get in front of a tattoo artist that I admire is to get tattooed by them! I use that time to watch and learn as much as I can and try to connect with my artist. I’ve been able to learn tips that I use everyday just from watching my favorite artists tattoo me.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink tells a story of family and expression. If it could speak it would tell me how proud they are that I’ve embraced my history to grow into the artist that I’ve become. They tell stories of family trauma and the strength to overcome those obstacles. They scream dedication and tell people how vibrant and colorful of a person I can be behind these beautiful scars.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First of all, I’d get my pupper’s teeth fixed. lol. My dog of 4 years was in an auto accident when she was about 10 months old and now about half of her teeth are either missing or damaged. I’d love to get her front nubs crowned at the very least. Secondly I’d invest in my fine art career and make the transition from skin and lean more onto canvas.
