Learn MoreI lost what was left of my family. My mom passed away young (58) and then my grandmother passed. I dealt with mental health issues and found it really hard to bounce back from all the feelings of sadness and abandonment. That downward spiral is dark as a lot of us know. My tattoo is of a Phoenix feather on fire. It represents the fact that even if I burn to the ground if I try really hard I can come back and rebuild from my ashes.
