My pieces are incredibly personal and represent where I came from, my journey & who I am now! I’m proud of that.

Enter For FreeIt is waves with sunshine signifying for me - resilience, light, forgiving, healing and moving forward. You have a choice in life to stay in the chaos, anger & abuse or work hard to move forward, I have worked hard to move, grow & learn … waves are constant change. I will not stop fighting PTSD. My dad (who passed away when I was 17) was half Samoan. Polynesians see waves as sacred/spiritual.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My current ones scream … Love, respect, happiness, forgiveness & growth. I LOVE having art that says … I am proud of where I came from, who I am today and how I have grown to love myself. I love having pieces that make me feel happy! I have my maiden name on my wrist in my dad’s handwriting so he could be a part of my wedding & walk me down the aisle … that was so important to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I will continue to work with my PTSD therapist. I will donate some to Mission 22 & will find another way to help with PTSD. I’m here BECAUSE people believed in me. People feel alone & hopeless & you’re not! I would use some to finish fixing our home from the tornado last May & Hurricane Beryl. My husband was laid off & before he got his new job it got messy, we could fix that. Thank you
