What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My back was most recently completed. It's a dedication to my grandpa who served in the Navy in WW2. He crossed the Atlantic Ocean 39 times (reason why compass & map is tattooed), the old baldy lighthouse is the oldest one where I'm from in NC (matches rustic theme & where sailors determined islands were located). I grew up on & loved being on the water. It represents my life/life itself (we all go through the waves, regardless if its both smooth & rough sails. we get through it).

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would speak of what represents myself & my passions, my passage through life thus far, my family and the history of my background. Just as important, my ink would speak through the soul and memory of my dear friend & long term artist who unfortunately left us way too soon (Luke Scheid). He performed a major portion of my tattoos.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would first donate to cancer research or survivors, as it unfortunately runs in my family. I would be honored to help in any way shape or form, as that is a part of who I am. I have also been saving for the purchase of my first home, whatever remains after would help contribute towards that.
