Everybody knows Puerto Ricans are very prideful about their culture and their flag. At one point in history the flag was banned from even being displayed, but we weren’t going for it! There is also lots of gentrification and erasing of our history going on back on the island, where locals are being forced out of their homes due to rich people purchasing their land/homes. My love for my people and culture are the inspiration behind my most recent tattoo.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my tattoo could speak it would say “You have tried before to bring us down with no luck.. We will not be defeated this time!” “Yo soy Borica, pa que tu lo sepa!” which translates to “I’m Boricua, just so you know!”
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to help my mom with her house!
