Do I regret my tattoos? No, because each tattoo is a different memory that I like to look back on. Each one is a different piece of my life.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I recently got a bright blue butterfly with made of barbed wire on my leg for my grandma who passed from ovarian cancer. She had this giant blue butterfly on her back that I loved as kid. The cancer awareness ribbon is also blue/teal. It’s not just a memorial piece, it’s a reminder to be happy since life is so short.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say that I am so loved by many and constantly trying to grow as a person. The tattoos would speak volumes on who I am and who I’m trying to be. They’ve seen me at my darkest and at my best. They would say that I’m finally comfortable in my own skin. That I’m learning to love myself.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First pay off my credit cards. Debt has a chokehold on most people, including myself. Next I would schedule a full day session to get my sleeve finally finished. This is something I’ve been putting off for years! Then I would put some of it into a high yield savings that I haven’t been able to open yet due to financial restrictions. Then I would use the rest towards moving from Houston to Austin. It’s something I’ve been wanting to but too stressed about money. Thank you
