With my mother’s passing my role has changed from son to protector, guardian and leader. I love sea turtles. The sacred Hawaiian turtle is called Honu, which is the Hawaiian word for Green Sea Turtle. It is a revered creature in Hawaiian culture, representing longevity, wisdom, and protection. Honu are also considered Aumakua, or guardian spirits.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It shows growth, caring, determination, leadership. Helping others. Sorrow and joy. Creation of life and death. Staying anchored to always do the right thing (from mom).
