Learn MoreMy recovery inspired my newest ink - I have been sober since November 1, 2011. Being active in my recovery community has been a vital part of my story. My most recent tattoo is a Phoenix which, to me, represents my perseverance over my addiction and the other obstacles life throws in my path. It's a reminder to me that I've survived 100% of the challenges I've faced.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would tell the world that my faith, recovery, and family are the most important things in my life. The pain of getting a tattoo is nothing compared to the pain I've already lived through, and my tattoos are my reminders of my strength and resilience.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off my credit cards and take my family on vacation somewhere that we can spend time relaxing, connecting, and making new memories! I would also use part of it as a down payment to buy the house I've been renting for almost 9 years and it's time to make it my own.
