Enter For FreeMy most recent piece was my stained glass hummingbird with the name Mama Lynne. I had this done for my “Other Mother”. She is an ex’s mom that I kept after we broke up. She is a special woman that has been a part of my life since 2017. She treats me like her daughter and my children like her grandchildren. I wanted her to know she is a permanent part of my life and I love her as my other mother.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink tells so many chapters of my life. The sorrow of loss, the pride of family, the connection of my mental health and to others I support. I wear all my vulnerabilities with each piece of ink as they are significant markers of my life experiences. They are permanent displays of my stories that prompt people to ask what they mean which allows me to share these impactful points in my life.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to complete my full sleeve (maybe two) as there are more stories about my journey I need to show. I would also use some of the money to upgrade landscaping on my home to continue building my oasis.
