What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a portrait of my son’s service dog, Gotti. My 23 year old son is on the spectrum & he is amazing in every way. He has defied all odds. Gotti has taught my son independence, confidence, & more strength than any human could ever teach.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would tell the story of woman drowning in every way possible. My right arm shows the early phases of searching for strength. Clawing my way out of every ditch they threw me in. My left arm shows a Phoenix rising. I found the purist part of myself. I gathered the ashes and found so many beautiful reasons to live. My neck shows a queen. A woman that can prove that your circumstances do not define you. I know my testimony will become someone’s survival guide.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the money I would absolutely put a down payment on a home for me and my children. I want to be able to leave this earth knowing that my children will never have to worry about a roof over their head. Being able to buy a home has always been and will always be my ultimate goal. Any young person in an abusive situation can overcome & achieve. I dream of being a light to others.
