My tattoo holds deep personal meaning—each element tells part of my story. The dream catcher represents my dad’s tombstone, honoring his 30-year battle with leukemia. The butterfly symbolizes freedom and also reflects the awareness ribbon colors that hold special significance in my life. The semicolon is a symbol of hope, representing the strength I held onto for my children during a 15-year domestic marriage. The shark tooth reminds me to stay present as I focus on finding them.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Freedom, love, dreams, hope and life. You choose your own path but some times that path is not your destination. See the beautiful world around you and be blessed.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would get my tattoos freshened up and get another meaningful tattoo. My husbands amazing tattoos are full of sarcoidosis so I’d like to try and find a remedy. I would most definitely pay for our adult children to get a tattoo of their choosing. The rest would pay some bills.
