Enter For FreeNatural aspects like flowers and insects inspired my most recent piece, some earthy fairy vibes keep the piece whimsical. I am working to balance my hip pieces and complete my body suit. I want individual pieces that flow well together and while individually have a strong meaning, they work well to blend my scars and convey the overall vibe I'm going for-dark feminine empowerment.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink reminds me that I can love the skin and scars that lie beneath it, and still appreciate the beauty and uniqueness that it's art brings to my life every day. I have covered over 165 inches of scars that 3 major surgeries and hundreds of stiches have marked my body with. I am no longer trying to "hide" my scars, but morph them into an art piece that not only reminds me of the journey I have been on to get to this point, but the strength and beauty of the journey itself.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would continue my suit at a faster pace. I would pay off my own remaining student loans and help my kids with their college funds. I would love to treat my family to a much deserved vacation. I would make a donation to some of my favorite women's advocacy groups that champion for women's reproductive healthcare.
