What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My son is a recovering addict. Suicide rates are high for addicts. One day he came home and asked me to not have guns in the house. My semicolon with Just Breathe is in support of him and me as a mother watching him navigate his recovery.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would tell you I’m a cancer survivor. A fighter. That CrossFit became my outlet after my diagnosis. I don’t have the muscles needed to do some movements due to their being used for breast reconstruction, but I go to the gym and fight to overcome and see this as another challenge. I never give up. Other tattoos show my love and support for my children. One shows I am a 70s child at heart that was born a decade too late. I have seven that represent my children, goals, struggles

What would you do with the $25,000?

Rent became too high for me to afford as a single mother. I scraped together the money for a fixer upper which was all I could afford on my single income. The house needs a new kitchen, windows, bathrooms and an air conditioner. The money would go towards those projects.
