On 11/11 at 11:11 was my 13th ritual tattoo honoring my husband 20 months after his sudden passing (he died in room 13 and did 20 years active duty and reserves combined). Lots of significant numbers there. Love of my life who will forever be with me. Getting another addition May 14 which would’ve been our 10th Wedding anniversary (17 years together).
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My tattoos speak to my unwavering and undying love for Patrick. Wearing my love for him, with a bit of him in each one, has been an honor and transference of pain.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’m really not certain. Definitely for more tribute tattoos as I plan to continue adding memorials on key dates for years to come. Maybe take some of the trips we talked about taking to faraway places like Thailand, Australia, Southern Spain or Greece. Maybe donate to a dog rescue or Veterans organization in his honor. Maybe buy a Harley so I can ride like we used to. For me it would really be more about being chosen which would be an amazing tribute to my husband in and of itself.
