My most recent inspiration came from el Chato here in LA. He’s coined his own unique style of script and I’ve been following him every since I met him at the Pasadena tattoo convention a few years ago. For my 39th birthday I booked with him and received a “West LA,” piece on my leg. Inspired by my 10yrs living in west LA and I saw a sticker while skating in Inglewood that said, WLA! That’s where I got the idea :)
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say I’m a man of many colors. This guy is a creative, deep thinking, free spirited rebel. When I started getting tattooed in the early 2000’s it was taboo. I stamped myself so I’d never work a corporate job!
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d start a new career. I’m still paying my student loans/car off. I’d like to shift careers and start my own business. I’ve been a massage therapist for 10yrs and I’m ready for the next chapter in my life, I’m getting older. Maybe I’ll start a coffee shop or make gelato.
