What started as a memorial to fallen comrades continues as a means of healing. My ink tells a story of the resilience of the human spirit.

Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo combines two things I love, cartoons and classic music. Growing up I was bullied so naturally I gravitated toward the caped crusader Batman. I’m an 80’s baby growing up hearing music from classic eras so when I saw the John Lennon quote "Make love not war." it piqued my interest. As a whole the piece represents both what inspired me to start training in martial arts and when I knew it was time to move on.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?"I am a collective expression that symbolizes love, loss, art, commitment, faith, loyalty and life. I am a contemporary representation of a sacred process practiced since the ancient times. Through vibrant colours I tell the story of a unique soul navigating the human experience and of one who used this art form to purge pain with pain in order to bring about healing.”
What would you do with the $25,000?As I recently found out the donations received for votes are going toward such a great cause supporting families of children battling cancer I will donate $5,000 of the prize money toward the cause. My uncle passed away suddenly from cancer at the start of this competition so I would love to be able to help others affected in a similar way. The rest of the $25,000 I would put on my car loan and to fund the trip to get inked in NYC!
