If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would say that there is pride, power, and purpose in being a strong bodied, tattooed woman. I am an expression and there is no shame in wearing my story on my skin. I am not any less feminine or acceptable because of my ink or my body. It is so important for me to be an advocate for woman who are judged or marginalized for the way they look. We are not to be covered up or minimized to be more palatable or acceptable. We deserve the same opportunities.
What would you do with the $25,000?It is my dream to open a movement studio and have a community space. I want to offer classes that help empower people to be their healthiest and most authentic selves. I want it to be a place of connection! I also want to offer groups for women to get together in a safe space and support one another. Anyone from domestic abuse survivors to those suffering with grief. I want to use the money to create something meaningful and lasting.
