Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My ex-fiance/ best friend passed away and he had "may the angels walk with me" tatted on his arm with smoke and clouds around it. I wanted something to remember him by that was mine and mine only. Not the cliche of getting his name. So I asked our tattoo artist to draw up some ideas and I absolutely love it because now he's always by my side on my arm and I'm the only one that knows his love is near.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My tattoos would say that this is someone who is strong and has had to fight many battles to finally began to heal and rebuild herself. My next tattoos will be about my growth into the kind, caring and compassionate person I am today because of all the battles I've had to go through. They speak to the soul of who I am without me having to tell my whole story. Every tattoo has a deep meaning to me and i am treating my body like the pages of the book to my life.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Honestly, I would use part of it to help me get on my feet and finally move out of my parents house. Pay off part of my student loans that I acquired in the last few years fighting to become a teacher. I would put whatever was left over into a high yield account to hopefully build a safety blanket that I've never had before. This money would substantially change my life.
