Learn MoreAs a mortician, my tattoos are a tribute to the beauty found in decay and the quiet poetry of death. I’m completing my arm in June—a haunting scene of an ancient graveyard and crumbling church, tangled with skulls, bones, and wild, reclaiming foliage. My lower leg bears symbols of my deep affinity for tarot, an art form that speaks to mystery and fate. The rest of my body carries birds—silent messengers and symbols of freedom, memory, and the soul in flight.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Green burial is the sacred return. final breath offered back to the earth. To be embraced by soil, devoured by unseen life, is to rejoin the eternal dance of decay and rebirth. In surrendering our bodies, we become the seed of new life—a gift to the living tapestry of the world. My devotion to the dead and the mysteries of the death realm is woven into everything I create. Through my art, I seek to awaken reverence, stir curiosity, and honor the quiet magic of our inevitable return.
What would you do with the $25,000?I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mortuary Science! This generous gift will help me pay off the majority of my student debt, and I’m incredibly grateful.
