What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My hummingbird is of such a sentimental value. I chose a hummingbird because my sister passed away in 2012 unexpectedly. Humming birds represent that a deceased loved one is present or near. Native Aztecs also believe that warriors return as hummingbirds. My sister was a warrior, she fought many battles that few knew about.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I am here Sister, I never left you, but moved on to higher duties beyond the human realm

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it to complete my dream tattoos as a full back piece to cover up ugly scars from a very traumatic time in my life. I would love a Japanese cherry blossom tree with humming birds and a wooded trail with fairy houses and a pond with a Phoenix reflecting in the water. This represents my healing journey through trauma and grief. That I have risen from my struggles and fought my fears head on. It's also a representation of my fondest memories with my sister as teena wandering the woods
