I just got two additional tattoos on my forearms. One that is a well known Latin phrase that essentially means “we all are going to die, so don’t forget to live”. The other is a simple, yin yang koi fish that, for me, is the balance between all the good and bad that happens in life. Without the one, you cannot fully appreciate the other.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would say that this person has a lot of layers and emotions that are behind a smile everyday. That having art on my body makes me more connected with myself and what I represent. My tattoos would say “ask me my biggest fears and what makes me tick”. That everyday normalcy isn’t my cup of tea even though I look like I am part of a soccer-mom book club.
What would you do with the $25,000?Honestly, $25,000 would help me pay off a lot of my medical and college debt that has been weighing me down. Other than that, my dad and the family farm upstate New York has been a forever project to complete and I owe it to my dad who worked his whole life as a mechanic to raise me and my brothers and sister. Family is first and I would love to give back.
