I just got back from a session—it's a continuation of my Phoenix. The inspiration behind it comes from the powerful symbolism of the Phoenix: rising from the ashes, rebirth, renewal, & transformation. It's a large piece that starts at my left shoulder and extends down to my left thigh. For me, it's more than just a tattoo~it's a reminder that I’m a cycle breaker. I've endured & overcome so much, from my childhood up to now, & this tattoo represents the strength it took.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would say, “I’m more than just something cool to look at—I’m a symbol of strength, an expression of nature, and a reflection of deep emotions. I’m a form of therapy, a way to heal and be seen. “
What would you do with the $25,000?My plan: First after taxes and fees paid I’ll be Donating 10% back to the B+ Foundation that is the charity behind this competition then l’d like doing something special like a family vacation, it’s been a few years. I’d also like to throw a big party for my mom’s 80th this year. A fall road trip from Ga to New York I hear it’s the most beautiful foliage or maybe a hiking trip in Ireland/ Scotland who knows… more ink. 😆
