Enter For FreeThe inspiration was from a pin I got in Ketchikan. It’s a beautiful hand made honey bee. I’ve always liked honey and bumble bees and what they stand for, Hard work, community, new beginnings. Growing up in Alaska I’d visited Ketchikan with my family, so going back while working a cruise contract brought a lot of good memories, and the pin felt right . Farid designed and did the tattoo at the Inked NYC studio!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Oh man, it would be all over the place! The thigh tatts have a peaceful quality about them so they’d definitely be more the voices of reason, reminding me to breathe and make time for myself. something like “Joe, Slow down! You’re gonna run yourself ragged if you don’t stop and smell the flowers.” Probably some corny inspirational quotas as well. Then you have the little dude on my arm. What would you do with the $25,000?As we all know, NYC ain’t cheap haha! I’d definitely invest some of the money to grow and have for later in life. Always good to plan ahead. I’d give some to my mom and older brother as well. They’ve been there for me and help support me through some very rough times and I’d love to be able to pay it back. And just got fun, I’d plan another tattoo with Farid 😜.
