Learn MoreMy chest piece reflects that my past and brokenness do not define me—I am a new creation in Christ. Inspired by the scripture, “Though You slay me, yet will I serve the Lord,” it speaks to the grief of losing my family in a single week, each to different causes. My heart has been shattered, but I rise from the ashes of pain and loss, not by my strength, but because God met me in my darkest hour and lifted me out. It is both a scar and a testament to redemption.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would whisper of battles survived and storms endured—of love lost, hearts broken, and faith found in the wreckage. It would tell of a soul refined by fire, each line a prayer, each shade a scar kissed by grace. It would echo the voices of those I’ve lost, etched not in grief but in memory and meaning. My ink would say: “I am not what broke me. I am what rose from it—redeemed, reborn, and fiercely alive.”
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000, I’d invest it in my children—especially my 6-year-old nonverbal autistic son, whose daily anxiety and silence make the world a frightening place. I’d seek the best therapies, tools, and support to help him feel safe, seen, and understood. Every dollar would go toward giving him a voice, easing his fear, and creating a life where our family can breathe easier, grow stronger, and finally feel some peace. His healing would be our greatest reward.
