It was inspired by my little brother’s passing, my closest cousin's suicide, and my survival from a heart attack. It's a symbol of pain turned into power, and a reminder that I’ve been given another shot to serve, to lead, and to grow. Every line holds meaning, drawn from loss, healing, and the path I walk to help others become stronger, more resilient versions of themselves.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?“You made it through. Now help others do the same.” It would speak strength into those who are struggling and remind them that broken doesn’t mean beaten. My ink would say that scars can be repurposed, that every trial has meaning, and that you are still here for a reason.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d build a community fitness and mentorship space for underserved youth and adults, a place rooted in strength, purpose, and second chances. It’d be more than a gym; it’d be a movement to help others rise through adversity and redefine what’s possible.
