Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a spider lily, which is part of a larger vision for a half-body sleeve. I’ve chosen to incorporate flowers with deep symbolic meaning, each representing different aspects of life, emotion, and transformation. The spider lily, often associated with final goodbyes and rebirth, holds personal significance. I also plan to include the Tree of Eden on my shoulder, symbolizing the afterlife as a return to the garden—peaceful, eternal, and sacred.

If my ink could speak, it would say: “I am more than what I appear to be. I carry sorrow, reflection, and the spark of new beginnings. I am the raw emotion of stories untold, etched in skin. Through every line and shade, I redefine art and identity. I am pain turned into beauty, chaos shaped into meaning. I am not just a mark—I’m a voice, a memory, a movement. This is the beginning of a new era, where ink speaks louder than words.”

What would you do with the $25,000?

Honestly if I won the $25k It would help prepare for my son who is going to be born in August. I’m recently retired from the us navy for medical reasons so the moving and preparation for my son has took a toll on mine and my fiancés bank accounts.
