Jonathan Chestnut

My ink is unique because 1/2 are one of one pieces that no one else has and half are flash tattoos that are unique and fun.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is actually 2 tattoos that I got together on my right thigh. One is Harry Potter glasses and lightening and the other is mushroom from Mario. For me they both represented the dichotomy of my personality. 1. Harry Potter being the more serious side and it signifies the geek in me and 2. Mushroom just being a happy person and looking at life in a positive aspect.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak it would say live your life and fuck what anyone else has to say. You’re living for you and not everything in life has to make sense of have a meaning as long as you’re living in your truth, that’s all that matters. I often get asked what a number of my tattoos signify, and I often tell people that some mean nothing. I thought they were cute and I liked it. I didn’t get tattoo’d for others

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would definitely get myself up out of a hole. I just finished 9 years of school and have not been able to save money because bills have been killing me. I would use some to pay off some student loans and the other to create financial stability for myself. This amount would definitely help to further invest in myself.
