What inspired your most recent tattoo?

In my late 20s, I discovered Crash Course (an educational YouTube channel) and psychedelics. Both of which inspired my recent tattoo. Crash Course Astronomy reinvigorated my wonder and curiosity for the space. The concept that we are all comprised of the materials that erupted from the belly of stars billions of years ago still fascinates me. Psychedelics have been incremental to overcoming generational curses and has aided my healing in a way that makes me excited for my future kids.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would probably ask for me to put on more sunscreen. But I also think it would be excited for the places it’ll travel with me For the swimming we’ll do in oceans or pools For the dancing we’ll do, food we’ll eat, and trails we’ll hike For the people we’ll encounter that will leave their marks Some in ink and others on my mind I think it’ll be excited to tell all the stories to my coroner before it’s reduced to ash.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My parents and my wife’s parents each immigrated to America in search of better opportunities. As 1st generation Americans, we are in the process of planting the seeds of our future children’s inheritance. Working on ourselves emotionally and economically to give our future kids every advantage that they could have. That 25k would help me support my family as my wife goes through law school, and allow me to take more risks on myself with writing and photography classes. A seed f
