Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a tribute to my brother, who I lost to gun violence. It represents pain, love, and the bond we shared. His death shook my world and forced me to reevaluate everything. I’ve changed tremendously—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It’s a daily reminder to live with purpose, honor his memory, and strive for peace in a world that took him too soon. This ink is my healing and my promise to never forget him.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak it would tell you a deep and meaningful story of someone who has been through a lot, torn down, and seen the worst. But it would also be a story to tell to let everyone know I’m still here and I’m still standing tall with my head up!

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had $25,000, I’d use it to help lift my family from the hard fall we’ve taken and rebuild a stronger foundation. I’d also invest in my community—supporting those like me who’ve been through pain, seen the worst, and felt broken. I want to give hope, create change, and show others that no matter where you come from, rising is possible. This money would be a step toward healing, growth, and impact.
