Growing up, I ran with the wrong crowd. We made a lot of mistakes, hurt each other, and lost our way more than once. But we never stopped caring. The story of the Monkey King reminds me of us, flawed people still striving for better. My tattoo is a reminder that when you love people, you don’t give up on them. You keep trying, even when it’s hard.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?We all fall short, but what matters is getting up and pulling the ones you love up with you. Compassion over judgment. Loyalty over pride.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would build a space where people can express their struggles through art, a studio for those who feel lost, judged, or broken. A place where mistakes are seen not as shame, but as part of the journey toward something stronger.
