My most recent piece was completing the lower half of my full back work. The Komainu or “Lion-Dogs” are guardians found at the entrance of Buddhist temples, Shinto gates and shrines; I see them as keepers of ancient wisdom. They protect the timeless tale of the dharma the koi fish on my back keep.

What would you do with the $25,000?25 grand will make a lasting impact for my family. Honestly probably use a few just to finish getting all the tattoos I have goals for. Then put at least 20 toward investing into my childrens education + post graduate or buy us a house they can grow up in. Cash is cool but I really submitted because the artists that did my work are awesome and I’d love nothing more than for their talent to be on display.
