Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is of Invader Zim and his robot sidekick Gir, Growing up as a 90's kid! I wanted to commemorate the best memories of my childhood, the trials and tribulations that I endured and a pivotal turning point in my origin story. My parents divorced in my adolescent years and never had a true father to share memories, Just like Zim and Gir! In fact Zim didn't even want to come to earth and was forced to leave his family.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would tell a story of addiction, seeing the beauty through the pain, Depression and a constant perseverance to continue, Never Abandon Hope is inked on my chest as a constant reminder to never lose sight. A warrior that continues the fight through all things thrown at him and a test to stand tall, God gave you a story right? Why are you being selfish and not sharing it with the world. You never know who actually needs someone in their corner until you shine a light in the darkness!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use $25k for 5 things, that resonate with me! First I would donate $5k to Habitat for Humanity in Abilene, TX where I have the privilege of being the ReStore Manager and have the opportunity to really change people's lives daily, $5k in 1k increments to my staff that work blood,sweat,tears for me, $5k for my daughter's piggy bank, $5k for a new motorcycle and lastly $5k to take my beautiful wife somewhere beautiful. Just a Misfit that wants to share my story. Thank you, Josh
