my most recent tattoo was a deconstructed cat skull with the teeth of my kitten. i adopted a kitten and as he aged his baby teeth fell out. i brought his teeth to a consultation to create the tattoo. living alone and taking care of an animal watching it grow to love you when you don’t love yourself makes you realize you can care for yourself the way you do others. we don’t speak the same language but through love we understand each other. loving myself helped me understand who i am.
