What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My daughter @grymm.ink had her first Tattoo Expo, so I volunteered to sit for her and be her skin. It was an amazing experience for both of us. We shared the booth with my bestie, @chentellehitchcock so life has now come full circle for all of us. Watching these talented women in an Expo situation sharing their work instead of the 3 of us crammed in the tiny back room of the shop was phenomenal.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would talk of a journey with three women who have worked hard to become the people they are today. Working multiple jobs to overcome abuse, domestic violence, depression, suicide, and every other challenge thrown our way to rise above the ashes and bring beauty to not only our world, but to the world of those in it. They showed me that you can love yourself, no matter what anyone tells you. What one person views as ugly, you can make beautiful with a little ink and a needle.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were blessed with the money from this, it would go directly into a down payment on a home. I'd like to finally say that after all of these years, we can say we have a safe place we can call ours. A spot where we can go and escape from everything that has terrorized us in the past, a place where nobody can take it away, and we can finally call home.
